To be realistic, you don't have total control over getting the free money. Most people simply aren't going to get college for 100% free. In the financial aid game, you are not the baker of the pie--the government, and/or a private college is the baker. The $64,000 question then becomes: how can you get a better pie than you otherwise would get? (Or in other words, "how can you get more free money and pay less for college"? The First Key Is... You supply the ingredients with which they will make your pie! Therefore, you change your pie by legally changing the ingredients that you supply them!
